Non-crystallizing formalin fixative

Tissue-Tek ClearFIX is a high-quality 10% neutral buffered formalin fixative designed to provide the desirable features of buffered formaldehyde fixation while staying in solution. Tissue-Tek ClearFIX can be used as the sole and primary fixative for any routine, immunohistochemical and special stained specimens or it can also be used as a secondary fixative. Tissue-Tek ClearFIX can be used on conventional tissue processors.

  • Non-crystallizing formulation
    Prevents the build-up of buffer crystals when introduced to alcohol, keeping processing lines clear of clogs and improving processor up-time
  • Formalin fixative
    Used in the same manner as current formalin and is fully compatible with current processes
