Tissue-Tek AutoSection® delivers the next level in precision sectioning.
Tissue-Tek AutoSection provides one-touch trimming and programmable sectioning with a host of built-in safety features. AutoSection automatically orients the block to the blade edge, using patented sensing and automated 3D specimen holder technology for precise XYZ orientation. It standardizes block orientation - even if the block was trimmed or sectioned on a different microtome - saving valuable tissue and technician time. With AutoTrim™, the AutoSection trims blocks automatically in just seconds with one-touch operation. This tissue-preserving feature is optimized for Tissue-Tek® Paraform® Sectionable Cassette System, although it also accommodates most common cassettes.
Multiple exclusive built-in safeguards make the Tissue-Tek AutoSection the leader in automated microtome user safety. One-touch trimming and sectioning eliminate repetitive hand wheel motions and reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders, while the sliding dispenser feature of Accu-Edge® blades eliminates direct handling of blades.
